Update on Tammy and Jenna Kate
This is Rachel, posting for Tammy again. Tammy was released from the hospital this morning and she is now on her way to Dallas to see Jenna Kate. Jenna had a rough night and they had to increase her oxygen again. They are feeding her through her umbilical cord and she is breathing with some help from a ventilator. It's not that she can't breathe on her own, but she has to work too hard to breathe, so the ventilator and the oxygen are helping her to breathe better without having to work so hard.

Jenna Kate Update
These pictures were taken yesterday after I came out of recovery. They brought Jenna Kate to the room for about 15 minutes before they put her on oxygen.
Here is our new family of 4.
Tyler watched me holding Jenna Kate and said "I want that!" so we let him hold her but he wasn't interested very long before he said "All done!" Here is our only picture of big brother holding her.
Early this morning they said she was getting worse and needed to transfer her to Dallas. She was put in this transport to be care flighted to Medical City Children's Hospital. Jered met her there and I am still in Paris and hopefully will get to join them there soon.
This is her GIANT bed that she was transported in by helicopter. Please keep her in your prayers. She is still having trouble breathing because her lungs are pre-mature. She was born at 36 weeks and needs some time for her lungs to get stronger. We hope that she will get better soon so she can come home!

Jenna Kate is here!
Happy Birthday Jenna Kate!
She was born today, May 18th at 2:34 p.m. She weighs 6 lb. 8 oz. and is 19 inches long. And she is gorgeous!
This is Tammy's friend, Rachel, posting while Tammy is still in the hospital. Jered and Tammy ask for your prayers - Jenna Kate was 3 1/2 weeks early, so she is having a little trouble breathing on her own, and they had to give her extra oxygen. If she's not doing any better tomorrow, they may have to move her to Dallas. So please pray for Jenna's lungs to get stronger so she can breathe on her own and not have to go anywhere. And pray for her mommy and daddy. They are worried about her, and they just want to be able to hold her and take her home.
Here she is with her proud daddy:

Easter 2009
I would first like to say that I am sorry I have neglected the blogging world for the past 5 months. I will blame it on the fact that I have joined facebook and so I have posted my pictures and videos there instead! I am currently 35 weeks pregnant. That means 4 more weeks until my scheduled c-section on June 5th. I spent the night in the hospital on Thursday with contractions. They gave my meds to slow down my contractions and help with pain as well as fluids through an IV. I am now at home on bed rest (still having some contractions and still taking the meds to keep them under control). Tyler is currently spending some time with the grandparents and so I have some extra time to get caught up on things like my blog! So here are some pictures from Easter 2009.

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! In case you did not get our Christmas card because you live over seas or whatever I included it above!
These next few pictures are from the preschool Christmas party that Tyler went to from church. It was called the Rudolph Party. We started preparing him that Santa was coming to the party so he would be excited to see him there. Here Tyler is posing in front of our tree all dressed and ready to go see "Ho Ho Ho" as he calls him.

We started preparing him that Santa was coming to the party so he would be excited to see him there. Here Tyler is posing in front of our tree all dressed and ready to go see "Ho Ho Ho" as he calls him. Here we are at the Rudolph party. Of course Tyler only wore these antlers for about 30 seconds... just long enough to snap this picture.

The kids had snacks and watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Then guess who showed up? And guess who ran out of the room screaming at the sight of him? Yep... that same little boy you saw in the video above so excited to see "Ho Ho Ho". Then Tyler saw that Santa was handing out gifts to all the kids and he became interested. Watch this video to see what Tyler did when Santa called his name...After Santa handed Tyler his gift he did not really want to pose for any pictures. He was ready to get out of there.

Okay... let me down!

I wish I had caught on video Tyler's reaction to opening his present. He got two Disney cars (Boost and Snotrod). He was squealing with delight and running around the room with his cars. He did not let go of those cars for days. He even liked his gift so much that Tyler ran over to Santa to tell him thank-you and gave him a sweet hug!

This was the best group shot I got!
Then I have to end with some videos of Tyler and Roselyn playing in my maternity clothes. A story I told in my last post. I forgot I had these videos and I thought they were pretty cute so here they are. Don't feel obligated to watch them all! Saturday, December 13, 2008
Thanksgiving, etc.
I will have to post some Christmas pictures in a seperate post. I have too many pictures for one post. So here I go playing catch-up once again. I will start with the most recent pictures and go back. The other day Roselyn came to play. After lunch the kids got quiet so of course I went to check on them. They had found my tub of maternity clothes that I had sitting out but had not put away yet. They were both laying down covered in my clothes like blankets. Maybe they were tired?!

Wake up Sleeping Beauty!
Who knew maternity clothes were so much fun? Thanks kids... now they all need to be washed again!
Tyler has now expanded his movie watching from just Disney Cars to Disney Cars or Monsters, Inc. or Finding Nemo. I think I now have them all memorized!
For Thanksgiving we went to Jered's grandmother Joyce's house in Grand Prairie. It was also her birthday so we celebrated with a little bit of birthday cake. Or should I say Tyler had some birthday cake because we were all full from Thanksgiving dinner and pecan and pumpkin pies!
Thanks for having a birthday grandmommy! This cake is yummy!
Tyler even got a couple early Christmas presents. He got a toy rocket ship from grandmommy and this Race Day truck from Mark, Sarah, Celeste and Chloe! He loves putting all of his toys in the seat and riding around on it.
Here is Tyler with his new found best friend and great-aunt Sarah!
We went to Ardmore during the Thanksgiving holidays too. While we were there we took a day trip to Turner Falls in the Arbuckle mountains.
It was a beautiful day and the falls were very pretty! Tyler with Mimi and G-dad.
There was an old deserted castle there that we explored. Can you tell who is peeking through the window?
Tyler and G-dad!
There was even a playground!

Tyler is pointing out the fish in the stream!
Tyler loves to turn on and off the lights! He can usually reach the light switches from the floor but he decided to be resourceful the other day and carried his chair around the house to every light switch!
We invited Avery to come play in the leaves after we raked them up in the yard before daddy mowed them up. They had so much fun jumping in the leaves and throwing handfuls of leaves on each other. We had a good visit!

Big News!
Okay our family has some big news to share. Tyler is going to be a BIG BROTHER! That's right we are having another baby! The due date is June 12, 2009... just a few weeks before Tyler turns 3! Here are a few sonogram pictures to share. I turned them upside-down on purpose because it is easier to see that way.

Tyler loved his costume. He won't say "monkey" but if you asked him what he was he would make monkey noises (ooh-ooh ahh-ahh).

Just a rear view of our monkey!

Posing with our pumpkins... isn't that the sweetest monkey you ever saw?!

Jered dressed up like our preacher (Patrick Cannon)... here they are together at our church's Trunk-or-Treat!
I know it is blurry but I have to show you the close up shot of the picture of above. Tyler has a great big smile on his face because he has a bucket FULL of candy!
It took a lot of convincing to let me hold his candy while he went through the inflatable obstacle course with his daddy.

It was actually quite hilarious to watch Jered struggle through it while Tyler giggled the whole time!

The obstacle course ended with a big slide. They were to quick for my camera so here they are at the bottom of the slide!

Later when we got home Tyler wanted to wear daddy's costume. He is wearing the mask Jered wore around his neck and backwards... but the wig is GREAT! This may be a better costume than the monkey?! Who knew?!

CHEESE!
Don't you love the new do? I have more pictures of Tyler's Harvest Festival at school that I will have to blog later.
Have a great day!
